Now-a-days more and more health-conscious people are getting deeper into this aging topic because, although they cannot turn back the time, they are finding ways to age gracefully. Going through many sources & different opinions of different people, I decided to go straight to the source to find out how to get that ageless look naturally!
But before taking you straight to the tips, let me tell you aging gracefully isn’t about working miracles, and there’s no magic potion of pill for good health. It’s all about your lifestyle and the environment that you are living in.

Ditch those fancy skincare routine
It’s hard I know! You might get tempted to overdo the makeup and try all the kinds of skin care routines & creams that assure you a youthful look. But, these are only useful if it enhances your natural beauty not mask it. So, instead keep it simple; Apply sunscreen before you go out, after going home wash face with an herbal cleanser, put on a moisturizer & go to sleep.
Wear SunscreenThere’s no permanent way to avoid the lines and wrinkles that accompany aging. But if you’re getting too much of sun-rays without protection, you are damaging your skin. Start using sunscreen and moisturizer at whatever age you are reading this, because sunburns between the age of 15-25 increase the risk of skin cancer by 68% & we all know that prevention is always better than cure. So, don’t forget to use sunscreen and moisturizer they might help you look much younger compared to someone who didn't use them!
Eat Healthy, Age Healthy
What you eat affects your skin whether it be good or bad. So, ditch those huge beauty systems that costs hundreds of dollars for the vitamins that support healthy aging. The best way to get all the required vitamins & minerals is by going for a variety of foods, so you get all the vitamins and minerals you need. Don’t forget your multivitamins, they are the ones who keeps your body healthy from the inside. Also, Vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin A & Selenium helps in defending the body from free radicals by acting as an antioxidant, stimulates the collagen that prevents fine lines & supports healthy aging.
Manage your stress away
Moving out of the negative energy makes you feel younger from the inside out. This is an essential factor to aging well which is under our control. And studies have found that stress can make you look 5-7 years older than you actually are. Life is always going to have stress whether it is in family or at work place, but to age gracefully you have to learn to manage your stress.You can manage your stress by simply meditating for 10-15 minutes in a day. you can also tame your stress by taking 20 minutes each day to stretch, meditate & yoga, it will also help to calm yourself. Stay away from negative people, places and things. Always look at the positive aspect, and be thankful for what you have.
Find motivation to work out.
Exercise can help you feel good, reduce stress, & maintain healthy weight. In short, it keeps you young from the inside as well as the outside. Exercise does not compulsorily means hitting the gym, you can perform any activities you like whether it be running, swimming, lifting or jumping jacks. Occasional indulgenceWhatever your choices may be, whether it’s alcohol, cigars, or fatty foods, Overindulgence can be a bad thing. There is nothing bad in enjoying the occasional indulgence but moderation is key in aging gracefully. Don't smoke & limit your drinking to no more than one drink a day. Consuming more alcohol & fatty foods lead you to obesity, high cholesterol & even diabetes.
Get enough ZZZ’s
Make sure that you not only sleep for eight hours a night, but that it is quality sleep because your skin rejuvenates and repairs itself mostly while you are asleep. Poor quality sleep not only increases the visible signs of ageing but also makes it harder to lose weight & increase the risk of higher blood pressure and heart disease. This means sleeping helps your skin naturally ward off the damaging & slows down the aging process.
As you all know there is no fountain of youth, but this simple advice can be the next best thing. And simply embrace changes, life is made up of changes & living it can create adventures you never thought were possible!! It’s never too late to start & the earlier the better.
