Ladies, Meet Maddie.

LET NATURE ROCK.

I live by these words figuratively, literally and unabashedly. I am fascinated by how nature comes to be, how it lives and how it breathes. I am enamored with how I, and those around me, emotionally and physically connect with it.

My love of climbing spurred from this fascination. Learning about nature through climbing taught me mountains about myself. William Wordsworth, my favorite poet, once said,

“Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher.”

I can remember several moments grasping, reaching, throwing for a pinch, jug or crimp on beautiful rock and gaining a new appreciation for the capabilities of my own body and my potential. Climbing gives me confidence and allows me to be the very best version of myself both on and off the rock. I push my body physically and emotionally through this wonderful sport.
