Kathryn Smith is a sassy southern girl that grew up in Houston Texas. She loves people, food, and travel and has spent her life exploring the world. From Paris to Brazil, Chicago to Maui, Lake Powell to Iguacu Falls, her next adventure is always waiting. She is married with 2 daughters and 2 step children living in Southern Utah. She loves hiking and exploring with her family in Zion National park and Snow Canyon State Park just in her backyard.
International Business was an obvious fit for Kathryn and she translated her love for cultural diversity into earning her Bachelor's Degree in it. For the last 7 years, Kathryn has worked as the Vice President of Omega-Direct. Managing the shipping department and optimizing the packing process are some of the many areas of the business she is directly responsible for.
Kathryn loves the freedom that comes from entrepreneurship and uses that freedom to continue to develop her passions. She loves to cook and create foods that are are delicious and beautiful. She even co-authored a cookbook "The Best of Southern Elegance" that showcases her favorite recipes, both savory and sweet.
Clients rave about her food, especially her custom cakes which are both beautiful and delicious. Her neighbors wanted her dinners so much that she started a small side business making hot meals ready to pick up and serve during those busy weeknights.
Her 9 year old daughter loves to join in the fun, often selling cupcakes door to door to earn money for herself. Besides food, Kathryn is also a floral designer and loves to use that talent to make a bride's special day perfect or that company Christmas party sparkle.
